1. Quiet any background noices.
2. Answer Promptly.
3. Two phones? Listen briefly to see if another has answered before speaking.
4. Speak Clearly
5. Greet warmly (i.e. Good Morning).
6. Identify yourself ( This is ________________ how may I help you?)
7. If calling someone to the phone:
a) Use privacy or hold button
b) Make certain person answers
8. If person is not home, ask for:
a) Name b) Phone number c0 Is there a message I can take?
ALSO NOTE TIME OF THE CALL!!!
9. Repeat information to verfify.
10. Close warmly, disconnect gently.
ALWAYS PUT A SMILE ON YOUR VOICE....THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END CAN ALWAYS TELL IF YOUR IN A GOOD MOOD, OR ARE YOU BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!!!
